Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ASC 842 experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform month-end reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying and explaining key financial trends.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with ASC 842 lease accounting, if applicable.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Support audit requests by preparing and providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including month-end reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
