Abacus Solutions Group is currently recruiting for a 2nd shift Computer Technician for a warehouse facility in the Las Vegas area. This role is contract to hire.

Role Summary:

The responsibility of Computer Tech is to assist the various warehouses with maintaining and upgrading computer systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and installation.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a SALT server
• Helping DTS and B2C with orders in SALT
• Fixing errors that appear in error folders
• Checking health and memory space on servers
• Running various reports
• Create labels using ZPL coding
• Search backend for information on orders.
• Submitting support tickets
• Maintain an inventory of computer equipment, including monitors, keyboards, hard drives, and printers.
• Respond to calls, pages, and emails about computer issues, and explain technical problems to users in non-technical terms
• Gather, analyze, and process information to identify and resolve issues
• Provide training and support to users on how to use computer equipment and software
  

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptability
• Sharp attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision  
• Able to stand and walk around for up to 12 hours at a time
• Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred.
• Basic Computer skills
