Join one of the fastest-growing trust and estate firms in the Carolinas. With the opening of our brand-new Charlotte office, Simpson Law Firm is seeking a hard-working, ambitious Estate Planning Attorney ready to roll up their sleeves and scale with us. You will play a critical role in protecting families with customized estate planning solutions as well as guiding families in the efficient administration of their loved ones’ estates. If you’re motivated to excel, driven to be the best in your field, and eager to lead and magnify others while building a successful career, we want to hear from you. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on competition, is passionate about continuous learning, embraces challenges, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results. This is more than just a legal position—it’s a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team with significant potential for growth and advancement. Here, success is rewarded for those who excel at driving firm growth and revenue by leading with vision, collaborating effectively, and fostering a cohesive, results-driven team environment. As we expand into new markets and invest in our people, this is the ideal time to come aboard. Our attorneys aren’t just legal technicians—they’re trusted advisors, thought partners, and strategic leaders who are shaping the future of estate law in the Carolinas. If you're licensed to practice law in North and South Carolina, have 3-5 years of experience practicing Estate Law, and are seeking a full-time opportunity to practice law with a fun team at a drama-free firm with plenty of room for growth, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: As a key member of our Estate Planning team, you'll be the approachable and sharp-minded professional clients trust and rely on. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Crafting tailored estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Consulting with clients in “Plain English", skillfully understanding their needs and helping them choose the level of protection that is right for their family.
  • Collaborating with paralegals and support staff to ensure A+ service is delivered to every client.
  • Designing and drafting meticulously detailed estate plans to address every aspect of a client's wishes and financial needs.
  • Overseeing and directing paralegals to run high volumes of estate administration files.
  • Roll up your sleeves to provide outstanding customer service - because in our firm, every client is a VIP.
  • Participating in networking and community events, and occasionally leading seminars or webinars.
  • You'll also help us improve as we grow—bringing ideas to the table, refining our systems, and shaping how estate planning is delivered in the Carolinas.
Qualifications: We're on the lookout for a candidate who brings:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration.
  • Licensure in North and South Carolina.
  • Excellent at connecting with people and getting them excited about what we do, ensuring clients feel confident and eager to work with us.
  • The ability to learn and use different software tools relevant to the estate planning field. These could include legal document generation software, research tools, or client management systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to continuously improve processes, contribute ideas, and take ownership of your role within a collaborative team.
About Company: We’re a fast-growing, drama-free law firm with a vibrant team that lives by our core values: Integrity, Kindness, Excellence, A-Player, and Fun. If you’re ready to grow professionally, make a real impact, and love where you work, come be part of something extraordinary at Simpson Law Firm. Location: You can find Simpson Law Firm in Fort Mill, SC, and Charlotte, NC.
