We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept development to post-event evaluation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate events from beginning to end according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
Manage logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, equipment, and transportation
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff throughout the planning process
Oversee event budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure events stay on schedule and within scope
Conduct site visits, negotiate contracts, and ensure all necessary permits and insurance are obtained
Supervise on-site activities during events to ensure smooth operations and handle any issues as they arise
Evaluate event success and provide feedback for future improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination or planning
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning software
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
