About the Family & Social Services Administration:
The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, which receives around 18 percent of the state's budget to ensure vital health care coverage to approximately 1 in 4 Hoosiers. Role Overview :
This position is responsible for oversight of the state's Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) programs. This includes work related to program renewals and amendments as well as communication with the Centers for Medicare and Medicad Services (CMS). The position will also be responsible for oversight and maintenance of the Indiana PathWays for Aging waiver waitlist. This role is also responsible for ensuriong that HCBS providers stay in compliance with the HCBS Settings Rule.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills as they will be working with both internal and external partners to complete projects. Problem solving skills will be key and the ability to make informed decisions is important to this role. This role will need to be able to work both independently, as well as within a team, depending on the project.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
