Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. This role involves various tasks aimed at enhancing the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work closely with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to promote healthy growth.
• Execute snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to enhance the appearance and health of trees.
• Irrigate landscapes effectively, ensuring proper water distribution for optimal plant health.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for various landscaping tasks, ensuring they are maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in garden installation and maintenance, including planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation.
• Maintain grounds keeping standards by clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the property.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic repairs on landscaping equipment as needed.
• Build and repair brick walls, fireplaces concrete blocks and other masonry
• Be able to read blueprints and understand the importance of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, including fertilization and pest management.
• Familiarity with snow plowing techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
