Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Duarte, California. This Contract-to-permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and grow your accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing accounts, financial reporting, and supporting audits for a multi-entity organization. Responsibilities: - Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Perform intercompany accounting across multiple entities, maintaining precise financial records. - Oversee month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. - Conduct bank reconciliations and provide support for general ledger tasks. - Prepare and analyze financial reports using NetSuite, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations. - Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and multi-entity accounting practices. - Hands-on experience with NetSuite is highly preferred. - Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite CRM. - Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes. - A proactive mindset with the potential to take on leadership responsibilities.
