Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Substitute Teachers to join our team! If you have a love for working with children and want to contribute to their early education, we would love to hear from you. Open availability is preferred, as you may be asked to cover different shifts occasionally based on the needs of our program.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by planning and implementing engaging activities that foster learning and growth for children. We are seeking energetic, caring individuals who are ready to help children meet developmental milestones, support schoolwork or remote learning, and create a safe and nurturing environment for both children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead creative, engaging activities aligned with our curriculum and standards to encourage the development of children.
Support children in meeting their developmental milestones and offer guidance with schoolwork or remote learning.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Provide active supervision during activities, ensuring children are engaged and supported.
Communicate regularly with children, parents, and other team members to meet the needs of the children and families in our program.

Position Details:

Hours may vary based on enrollment and program needs. Substitute Teachers typically cover specific teachers' classrooms or shifts.
You will receive your schedule the Friday before the upcoming week, with flexibility depending on your availability. You may also be called to cover for an absence (but this is optional).
While lesson plans are provided, there may be instances where you'll need to adjust and improvise as needed.

Qualifications (Preferred but not Required):

Experience working with children, either as a teacher, instructor, or in a related capacity.
Background in early childhood education or similar fields.
Previous experience in a childcare center setting is a plus.
Experience in curriculum planning and lesson development.
Comfort with positive discipline techniques.
Ability to work with a flexible schedule and be adaptable.
Strong communication skills to engage with parents and guardians.

Skills (Preferred but not Required):

Knowledge of child development and early learning standards.
Strong customer service skills.
Proficiency with computers and technology.
Effective time-management skills.

Salary: $ 20.00 25.00 Per Hour
